Sandra Mangurian
Executive Advisor, Curriculum and Instruction
Sandra Mangurian has more than 30 years of executive experience in
educational publishing. Most recently she was Vice President, Director
of Curriculum for VoyagerU, where she directed the content development
of two online professional development courses, including Reading for
Understanding, a program conceived in collaboration with David Perkins
and colleagues at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior to
joining Voyager, Sandra served as Editor in Chief of Barrett Kendall
Publishing and was instrumental in developing the first secondary English
program delivered in both print and online formats. She has also held
the positions of Publishing Director of Rigby Education; Vice President,
Editor in Chief at Scott Foresman; and Vice President, Research and
Instruction with Harcourt School. Sandra is a graduate of the University
of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in English. Presently she serves
as co-chair of the Advisory Board of the College of Humanities and Fine
Arts.
